MRT or taxi — both excellent: Singapore's MRT is clean, safe, fast, and cheap (S$2.50 to the city). Taxis are metered, honest, and comfortable (S$25-45). The choice depends on luggage volume and personal preference, not safety or reliability.
ERP charges: Singapore's Electronic Road Pricing (like a congestion charge) applies at certain times. This is included in pre-booked transfer prices but added to taxi meter fares — usually S$1-3 during peak hours.
Four terminals: T1, T2, T3 are connected by the free Skytrain. T4 is separate (shuttle bus). Check which terminal your airline uses — it affects where your driver meets you.
